Official main tasks

  • Installs and tests liquefied petroleum gas, hydrogen, biogas and other natural gasfitting lines
  • Installs and commissions gas appliances, such as hot water services, space heaters, ducted heating units, gas stoves and cooktops
  • Installs flues through ceilings and roofs with appropriate clearances and flue termination
  • Identifies and repairs gas leaks in piping systems and appliances
  • Performs routine maintenance on gas appliances to ensure their proper functioning
