- Monthly lower quartile, median, upper quartile and mean earnings are multiplied by twelve.
- Coverage and limits
- Jobs measured as full-time equivalents across the national earnings population. This is not a graduate starting-salary forecast.
Student living costs

- Method
- The range combines the observed NOK 14,700 monthly student average with the NOK 15,488 monthly equivalent of the 2026/27 official finance requirement.
- Coverage and limits
- One higher-education student, tuition excluded. The observed budget is historical and actual city housing can differ materially.
Representative international tuition
NTNU and University of Bergen
- Method
- The representative range uses NTNU's mainstream humanities, social-science and business category and UiB's science, technology and biomedical category.
- Coverage and limits
- NOK 176,300–226,000 for selected mainstream categories. Medicine, fine art and other specialist high-cost programmes are excluded.

- No universal national hourly amount is stored. Norway publishes statutory minimum rates only for covered sectors.
