Student living-cost planning range

- Method
- The lower value is the 2026 monthly maintenance requirement of SEK 10,656. The upper value is KTH's official Stockholm student-budget estimate of SEK 12,350 per month.
- Coverage and limits
- One higher-education student, tuition excluded. The permit floor is not a spending forecast and the KTH budget reflects Stockholm rather than a national average.

- The range uses Stockholm University's SEK 90,000 annual humanities, social-science and law fee and KTH's SEK 180,000 general advanced-level fee for 2026/27.
- Coverage and limits
- Representative mainstream programme benchmarks for fee-liable students. Architecture, design and other special high-cost programmes are excluded; the range is not a claimed national minimum or maximum.
