- Meets one of three federal categories: Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), or Federal Skilled Trades (FST)
- Language test results (IELTS/CELPIP for English, TEF/TCF for French) — valid 2 years
- Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) — if educational credentials are from outside Canada
