Requirements
- Recently completed an approved New Zealand qualification and have not previously held a Post Study Work Visa
- For degree level 7 or higher, normally at least 30 weeks of full-time study in New Zealand
- For eligible non-degree level 4 to 7 qualifications, full-time study for the required duration and a qualification on the official eligibility list
- Apply no later than 3, 6 or 12 months after the student visa expires, depending on the qualification and previous visa
- At least NZD 5,000 for living expenses and the required health and character evidence
- Degree level 7 or higher generally allows open work; lower eligible qualifications require work related to the study
